 Showstoppers: the 2009 holiday club for primary school children was once again a great success. With 30 children throughout the week we had a fun-packed week full of games, crafts, bible stories, DVD and loads more. Watch this space for details of the next event...

'Starship Discovery' The holiday club for 2008 was 'Starship discovery' looking at stories about Peter. It ran from 28th July to 1st August every day from 10am to 12noon. Over 30 children came across the week, a fantastic time was had by all!

St James’ is a family friendly church where children are welcomed and valued.  There is a children’s corner in the church for the ‘littlest’ members of the church when they feel like a bit more space to move around.  This is a carpeted space with toys and a small table & chairs with paper, crayons etc

Then there is Sunday Club for children aged around three and up.  Children leave with their leaders after the first part of the Sunday service which is designed with all ages in mind.  They then have their own fun session in the vestry (until the new meeting room is available) with stories, games, craft & other activities.

Once a month, on the 4^th Sunday, there is a Family Service which is more interactive and is designed for all ages to come and worship together.
